microsoftauditdefense.com is an independent buyer side advisory. We defend end customers in Microsoft license audits and hosters in SPLA audits. We sit on your side of the table, between you and Microsoft and its appointed auditor. We are not affiliated with Microsoft Corporation and we do not act for Microsoft or for any auditor.

The content on this site is general information about Microsoft and SPLA audit mechanics. It is not legal advice, accounting advice, or licensing advice for your situation. Worked examples and figures are illustrative and any figure labelled indicative reflects a representative range rather than a guaranteed result. Do not act on the content alone. Advice for your circumstances begins only under a written engagement.
Engagements and fees
We engage on one of two models. A Fixed Fee from $18,000 is a scoped fee agreed up front. Gainshare is a share of verified savings or avoided penalty with zero retainer and no risk to the customer. The model, the scope, and the fee for any engagement are set out in a separate written agreement, and that agreement governs the work, not this page.
Our guarantee
Our guarantee is that we reduce your exposure or we reimburse our service fee. The terms of the guarantee, including how a reduction is measured, are defined in your engagement agreement.
Use of the site

Forms and your data
