This notice explains how microsoftauditdefense.com collects, uses, and protects the information you share with us. We are an independent buyer side advisory based in New York and London. We keep this simple because our relationship with you depends on trust.
What we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us through the forms on this site. That includes your name, your work email, your company, and any details you add about your situation with Microsoft or a SPLA audit. We do not publish a public email address. We capture everything through the form so that your information reaches us through one controlled channel.
- Contact details you enter, such as name, work email, and company
- The context you provide about your audit, true up, or exposure
- Your choice to receive The Audit Brief, our newsletter
- Standard technical data your browser sends when you load a page
How we use it
We use what you share to respond to your request, to scope a possible engagement, and, if you ask for it, to send you The Audit Brief. We do not sell your information. We do not share it with Microsoft or with any auditor. We are on your side of the table, and your information stays there.
How forms are processed
Every form on this site is submitted through a single form processing service that delivers your message to us. The information you enter passes to us through that service and is not posted anywhere public. We ask only for what we need to reply and to understand where you are with Microsoft.
The Audit Brief
If you subscribe to The Audit Brief, we use your email to send the weekly dispatch and nothing more. You can ask us to stop at any time through the unsubscribe option in the email or by contacting us through the form on the site.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we need it to serve you and to meet our legal and professional obligations, then we remove it. If you ask us to delete your details, we will do so unless we are required to retain them.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can opt out of The Audit Brief whenever you wish. To make any of these requests, use the contact form on the site and tell us what you would like us to do.
Security
We treat the information you share as confidential. We limit access to the people who need it to help you, and we hold it with appropriate care. No method of transmission over the internet is perfectly secure, so we cannot promise absolute security, but we work to protect your information at every step.
Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our practices or the law change. When we do, we will revise the date at the top of this page. If the change is significant, we will make that clear.
How to reach us
We do not publish a public email address. To contact us about privacy or anything else, use the contact form on the site and we will reply. We operate from New York and London. You can reach the form from the Get a Quote section on any page.
